Love the Mummy!!!!!

Here's a view looking down the lake last month:

Wow, great reflection!

So I haven't dove in close to a month........
The closest i've been to water recently is staring at a pool.......

Had the brilliant idea to take some shots, showing the effect of waves and the distortion it creates on images....

Thanks!
Canon Rebel XTi with Canon 75-300 IS Lens.
Here's another:

Very nice, I thought that it was a wide angle lens at first.........
The breadth of the photo just gave me that feeling.

This is also wonderful :), love the colours, the composition, can almost smell that cool crisp fall air :).

cfelliot:
Jam,

Considering some of the stuff you have on this thread, that’ a heck of a complement.

Thanks,
Chuck
Hahahahahaahaha, verrrry funny cfelliot.

You're not doing too badly yourself, keep posting ;) ;).

Btw, check out this pool - http://www.flickr.com/groups/canonef50mm/pool/
50mm f1.8 lens, ony around us$75 or so!!

cfelliot:
Yes, B&H is $75! The shots in this pool are great! I may order one. I've never had a fixed lens! 50mm x 1.6 = 80mm, I take a lot around that!

Yup, it's usually called the 'plastic fantastic', the lens feel is crappy, very plasticky, not great construction.
But the optics are wonderful, can't be beat for the price.

The 50mm f1.4 is better constructed, but is about $310 or so...
