I think the black background and extremely white for ground (flash?) take away from your photos. There was one interesting thing I did notice, take the center photo to the top and it looks like a sequence of the wings coming down.

I'll work on that - they keep landing on the lanai wall which are white. I did get that one on one of my gardenias but the flower is all washed out:
