Very nice, Soggy.
Jon, great pics. I especially like the light in that last one.
TSBHH. Cool use of the fisheye.
Geryl, love that spinning prop.
Charlie59, cool whale shot. I'd kill for one of those. All I ever get is a spout or half a tail from too far away.
Ryan, nice job on the shrimp.

Believe it or not, these two were taken at a place called Stillwater Cove

This is why Carmel River State Beach is also called Monastery.

Dambana ng Kagitingan (Shrine of Valor) is a Philippine World War II Memorial to the defenders of Bataan.

Along with the island fortress of Corregidor, Mount Samat was the site of the most vicious battle against the Japanese Imperial Army in 1942 during the Battle of Bataan.

soggy's photo inspired me to shoot mount samat even if it was 12noon and light was so harsh.

Soggy, I love the moodiness of those last two pictures.
Jon, your memorial shots are inspiring, but you left my favorite out. I really like the one with the cylindrical structure (torch?) and the flagpole against the cloudy sky (#1378)
