I tried to figure out how you guys embedded your pics.

Ryan, I don't know anything about Picasa, but I found this on line.

You will need to enclose the URL in .img notation as it says at the bottom to embed it here. Many of us use Photobucket. It's free, and it has all the file options including .img below each picture, so all you have to do is click on the IMG file and it automatically copies the whole line. Then you just paste it to your post. 600x800 is about as big as you can go without making the thread look ridiculous and having everyone scroll all over the page to see your whole picture. 600x800 is exactly the size of a normal post frame.
