Really digging the orchids :).
Unfortunately this was a race through the orchid house and I didn't take note one - but I found out something... I'm going back up there soon when I can spend an entire weekend exploring. I grossly underestimated the place - just walking in from the parking lot were Bleeding Hearts, Columbine, Silverbells, Mountain Laurel, Wild Azalea, Rhododendron, Lantana, American Honeysuckle, and on and on - more variety than you'd find in a week of searching in the wild. I spent the whole time in the orchid house...
They had some resident quail...

When I was going through the pix I was just about to delete this one of daughter Princess Sasha (she says "it makes me look fat") when I saw I had to keep it, as the Lovely Young Kat was playing "Where's Waldo?"

This is as close as I got to water this weekend, and you would not want to be diving here even with a full protection suit.
