Went up to Hotlanta for Easter weekend... it was anything but hot - set a record low for the date at about 30F! Gotta love that global warming!

Those flowers have some very interesting patterns and colours..

Do you know the name of any of them?
Really digging the orchids :).
 
Sparrow
As to what type of sparrow this is i'm not quite sure.
They're certainly more forward and adventurous than the Saffron Finches who wait for a long time before coming to the bird feeder...

Saffron Finch
This is one of my favourite birds for a number of reasons.
Besides the brilliant yellow, the male birds are known for preening and staring at themselves in car mirrors in the early morning.

I kid you not I've seen it myself on many occasions :).
