Nice shot Sydney! Ken, that flying gurnard is great. I have a half-dozen bad ones so I appreciate the degree of difficulty on that one.

Where to start? Cheddar, nice Coral and Gunnard. Jon, I really like the flowers, especially the second one, but the lighting is really cool on both. Ken, that Flying Gunnard pic is fantastic. Jam, I love the last shot with the bird in perfect focus and the shallow DOF showing in both the foreground and background. Sydney, the Anemone is perfectly lit and the boathouse on the lake just has great feeling. Chantal, love the color in the first one. Hope I didn't forget anyone. Our dive yesterday lasted only four minutes thanks to the zipper failing on Carol's drysuit, so I took topside pics and went to the aquarium instead. Here are a couple that came out OK.

Sea Lions on the end of the Breakwater. Poor little guy in the middle, with his fins splayed out, has a fishing net around his neck.

Tassie_Rohan:
Nice shot of Cradle Mountain Sydney.

Cheers for that Tassie.
Any idea how deep it is, I am thinking of getting wet on my next trip down your way.

Cheers

Sydney, that is gorgeous!

Larry, who would have thought that we would have so many interesting critters on the west coast? I love 'em, especially the little guy in the jar. What kind of fish is he?

That's a Fringehead, Chantal. They really like pipes and holes and are very protective of their territory. They'll inhabit the same pipe for years.

I don't think Dove Lake is that deep - around 30 meters in the centre. Must admit I thought about diving it last time I was there. May still have a few galaxiids (a rare small freshwater tasmanian fish) if no trout introduced.

Being a rebreather diver I'd of thought that Lake St Clair at the other end of the walk would be more your style: its the deepest lake in Australia at 200 metres - let me know if you touch the bottom... :)

Plenty of salt water dives to do as well if you want....
