I did this when I went to the Puget Sound area last October. I've made some (hopefully ) lasting friendships as a result. A couple of folks (1 is a member, the other is not) are even coming up here in August for some real Alaska divingDivingGal:Quite frequently members will post where they're going, and ask "Hey if you're in the neighbourhood..." and folks link up.
This is done mainly through the many "clubs" areas...
