Hi,
It turns out I need a clear to dive medical certificate. I am arriving to Jakarta tomorrow where I will be based for the coming two weeks before heading to Raja Ampat on the 28 th of February for 1 week of diving.
Anybody who can give me such info ?
I've also asked DAN but they have been very slow replying my emails.
Thanks a lot in advance

perhaps a dive shop or instructor in the area can give you some assistance......just a suggestion...good luck and happy diving.

Easy... SOS International in a neighborhood in South Jakarta called Cipete is where most expats in Jakarta go for basic medical services. They are good people.

I contacted them today but they said they provide services to members only.

I'm also contacting a doctor DAN suggested but he sounds reluctant too (said he will call back but did not etc). Let's see

I've been diving Indonesia since 2004 & never heard of such a requirement, unless maybe special circumstances require it. Who is requesting the review? Can you see your own doctor before the trip?

It's nothing particular to Indonesia. I am just currently located in Jakarta. I’ve been taking some medication recently (see here Urticaria, Xolair and diving for more details) and I am looking at how they might affect my diving. DAN has been quite negative about it and asked me to consult a specialist so that's what I am trying to get.
