One has to ponder the price of such a thingy! :D

I couldn't find the stub for the last one we purchased, may have been a few years ago. I did find a stub for the repair of the flowmeter unit, $50, not bad. so I called General Oceanics:

Mod. 2031H flowmeter $570
Mod. 2135 Data Readout $1425
Mod. 2135PC Housing $582

Not bad prices.

You can get a G.O. 2030R or 2030R6 for a bit under $400.

Those are what I used to use in the bongos towed behind my DPV.:D

Divers are certainly not PDQ, not even when freediving, especially for an extended period.

When it comes down to mattering, the current is either light or strong.

Plan accordingly.

I hear ya, mine are sitting on a shelf collecting dust. Once in a blue moon someone needs one. These days I'm using ADCP's. I can get a profile for the entire water column. God I love my toys.
