Could you post pictures of what these look like so I'll know if you're talking BIG plane, little plane, helicopter or remote control??? :)

Helicopters don't fly, they beat the air into submission. ;)

They're all helicopters, Miss P.

That may bet true, Quarrior, but most of the guys I picked up when things got thick seemed to disregard that characteristic
for the moment !!! :m16:

You know, I still run to a window and look out when I hear that wop-wop-wop-wop-wop . . .

I'm the same way every time I hear a C-130. Used to live about 10 miles from a Guard unit in WV. Every time they cranked up those birds or fly around, I'd go outside to see them.

hmmm helo's and C130's bring back recent memmories of exiting out the jump doors, sliding out of the door of a black hawk, out the tail gate of a CH47 into the air with only a chute on my back and ruck between my knees.

Well, if you went out the back of a CH-47 Sh!thook, you were definitely sliding, because those aft transmissions leak like beejeezus . . .!!!

It was fun and and scary....it's when they don't leak is when you need to be very wary of what is going on... ;)

You fly slicks or did you get to shoot back?

Kraken.... you fly ultralights, how cool. Here is question: is it true you don't need a licence to fly those thingies? how's the learning curve? I always wanted to take fly lessons, but my eyes are crap....
