Just getting back into diving, I went to my LDS to get a mask, fins, snorkel, boots and left with a O'Neill Men's Sector 7mm FSW Full Suit w/ Hood, Sherwood Avid BCD, Sherwood Blizzard regulator, alternate air source, and gauges. if my wife ever finds out how much money I just spent I'll be sleeping on the couch for weeks lol

I was thinking he may not even have the option of the couch or tub at this point...the Welland Canal may have to do.... (Shoulda got a drysuit instead of that 7mm... )

What I realy needed to buy was the mask, fins, boots, snorkel, I have to do my OW over again, I was certified about 20 years ago, but somehow my paperwork a passport photo went missing, so it never was sent into PADI, this never realy was to much of a problem locally, but well on holiday (Mexico, Aruba, Vancouver island) it was a real let down. I found out that I would have to do the course over Its one of those things that I told myself that I would do someday, well I guess "someday" is here!

Im not to sure where my head was at when I was at the LDS! Oh well Its almost income-tax time so maybe I'll have enough money to get the things I realy needed

I think I have her talked into going to "Discover scuba" with my son, but I dont think she has to much of an interest in diving, oh well its worth the try.

Vancouver Island...now you're talking! Forget those warm-water destinations.... When you're in our neck of the woods, drop me a line...we can do some diving and you can remind me how much I don't miss the QEW/401 and traffic in general back there....

Congrats on getting back into the sport. I know what you mean I've spent a good bit here lately on dive gear. But the next week I give my wife some money to buy herself something....or I really stay on top of my honeydo list.
