Sorry people, I just found out it's Oahu, not Maui. My bad! So anyway, will the diving still be good in March?

the new rules people like KrisB, who is illegal, will be fined $250.00. ( Kris, even taking "tips" is a form of payment and not allowed.)
Since there are so many instructors from Hawaii on this thread, I'd like to ask a question. My brother-in-law is getting married in Maui in March of 09, and I want to do some diving since we will over there for (2) weeks. Is March off season? Will the dive operators still be going on? I definitely want to do the crater and things like that. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I have no first hand knowledge of B&B's boat operations. I do, however, have a half-dozen first-hand experiences in their shop, and their customer service there ranged from poor to less than poor in all but one instance.
Considering I'm speaking of my personal experiences going in there to purchase items or discuss the possibility of bringing them business, I think that's a yes.Do you have any first hand knowledge of the customers in the examples you cite? Being professional doesn't mean putting up with every form of crap a customer can dish out.
Does this count as first hand experience and knowledge?
The thing you're missing is that wonderful thing called body language. I say stuff pretty much straight up here, yet continually people choose to read between the lines -- that's as much the source of miscommunication / misunderstanding. Jim has, above, posted something that speaks of my in-person communication.Absolutely. I would have to say if you presented yourself at B&B as you have on SB, it would come to me as no surprise that your reception was less than welcoming.
It also confirms, in my view, that your issues are personal and you are a biased, yet highly verbose, source of misinformation.
I'm not out anything by not being affiliated with B&B -- given the continued comments I hear from other locals, I've actually improved my reputation by not being affiliated with them.
