Go to your LDS and try them out. Best advice you can get really. What might work for someone will not work for other and the other way around.
 
Here is what I was told when I asked the same question.

Look at masks manufactured for men with large noses.

In other words, a manufacturer of masks in Italy would typically design larger nose pockets because Italian men generally have large noses.
 
I'd probably fall into that category, atleast on the bridge of my nose, that's been broken a number of times. I have both the Atomic subframe and the frameless and they both fit me very well and plenty of room in the nose area (for a low volume mask). I recently tried the Oceanic pioneer ultra-clear mask and was very disappointed how little of room there was and the comfort and seal was not good.
