I had a nose bleed at 100ft once and it took a minute or two to not panic. Rolled upside to look at some fish under a ledge and the blood smeared across one of my mask lenses. There wasn't a lot of it so I figured it was ok. During the SI the DM told me it was mask squeeze; and nose bleeds were more common because of the warm waters (in Subic bay).
Never knew if that was the case but I haven't heard of people getting nose bleeds back home in Canadian waters.
Does anyone know if the temperature of the water does affect the symptoms?
