Hey everyone!

I have a few questions to ask....

I have had the same mask since i was about 13 (im 20 now), and have noticed that on my cert. dives that i have very little access to my nose... (if any at all)... and that i am getting a sinus squeeze extremely quickly....

When i dive, if i decend more then 5 feet without continuosly blowing air out my nose i get a sinus squeeze and start to bleed a little out my nose, and feel pressure between my nose and eyes....... same as when i free dive....

Is the mask to small? It stays 100% dry....

What should i do? Is it my technique?

Thanks,

Jorgy

It sounds to me that you are not comfortable with your mask in the first place though it works. Frankly, I am not sure whether it has to do with your breathing or technique. But what I know is you will not enjoy your dives as much as you could. Might seriously think about getting yourself a new mask and make your diving more enjoyable.

Ciao,
