Looking for some gps coordinates for some wrecks and mainly reefs in Martin county and northern PBC (Jupiter). In Broward we have the mooring balls to tie up on at the first reef there, does anything like this exist in Martin county? Ideally looking to do a little bit of spearfishing and catch some bugs. Any advice is appreciated!

Boats tie off there? We shore dive from LBTS and swim to the 3rd reef. Never saw a boat tie off. Never saw a boat that close. Scary to think boats will come in that shallow.

no mooring balls for Martin County waters. this is drift diving. Lots of great dive sites from the USS Rankin wreck, David T, and lots of cool reefs.
best thing is to use/purchase the Navionics app.

This gets a little confusing when you are talking about the reef number off a boat vs on shore - so what the shore divers call the 3rd reef is really the first reef (and yes those white balls out there are for boats to tie off too). All the other reefs inside of that 1st reef are really inner ledges - you will even see boats come all the way in to the first ledge there which is only about 20 yards or so past the no motor buoy. NORMALLY they respect the dive flag and stay away from you but not always so if you need to go up listen and keep your head on a swivel.

Awesome, are the dive sites pre programmed in navionics or will I still need the numbers?

the wrecks a there in Navionics. the reefs are kind of obvious features. Some are marked as fishing/diving spots. The user community adds a lot of stuff.
