Marking jets?

I tried to mark my Jets with my name the other day and the paint pen didn't work on the rubber. The rubber is soft enough that the pen just stuck into it, plus the paint was easy to rub off even when dry.

Is there something I'm missing here? I can get a thicker paint pen, but I'm concerned the paint will just rub off. Hints??

I used a silver Sharpie on mine and haven't had any trouble with it coming off.

I just use a regular yellow paint pen. Worked for me.

Are your Jets new? As they age, they hold marks better.

I use a silver sharpie. It wears over time but is easy to touch up every few months.

White paint pen... Worked great.. Next time I'll try the Siler Sharpie.. got one around here somewhere

try wipping down the area to be marked with rubbing alcohol or a light solvent before
using the paint pen wait for paint to dry and reapply a second coat.
Works great
reapply after 10-15 dives

What about a soldering iron? MIght not be real visable but definately permanent
