We recently acquired a few Mares Quad 2 for the club, and here’s an unboxing. We decided to make a video since there’s hardly any information online. As always, let me know if you need anything!

so basically they had the 2. Same computer as previous version. 😂

New algorithm with GF and trimix are the most important new features.

So the down votes are because it won't lock you out(see page 21 of the manual) or because I mentioned it?

Just because it seems you do not like the model hahah :rofl3::poke:

between you and me i don't think any tech diver will use this model for trimix. They released the first version of the quad around 2012 they are not much change on it since. I will leave it in the recreational level entry dive computer. Since than sherwater and garmin upgraded there product every year and a far away in advance in the game on computer technology.

I like to put the first version and the 2 version and go for a dive i doubt any algorithm was change what so ever. marketing in my opinion for a product reaching the end of the line.

Be safe

We are using them together with the Perdix and other Shearwater models, and we haven't noticed any significant differences in dives down to 65m with multiple gases. Same performance, same deco stops, and same planning with the same GF, of course.
