The SPG in the video is a replica of the Apeks version I use except for the branding. Not sure if Apeks manufactures SPGs within the UK or if they outsource to Taiwan…

As far as I know, this manufacturer makes products for many European brands. I've seen videos of them being made, it's something I know for sure.
You’d be surprised to know that many brands don’t even have their own factory, they simply stamp their name on the products.
But this doesn’t just happen with diving products...
What I’m saying is not that Yuhsin is the best or anything, it’s just that through my YouTube channel, I’ve learned over the past 4 years of testing a lot of gear that not everything is what it seems...
In our case, we’ve been testing Asian regulators because one of our divers from the club is Taiwanese, and he had tried them in his country.
We gave them a chance and we’re very happy with them. But just as happy as we are using Apeks, Hollis, Halcyon, Scubapro...
It really bothers me when people criticize brands from other markets without trying them first... but well, everyone has their own opinion...

Let's hope the sea improves these weeks, we have 5-meter waves, and we can take them deep to see how they perform.

I have known Yuhsin for four years. We have used several of their models and have always been delighted. They can practically make anything you need for diving from scratch. The problem is that, in Europe, due to tariffs, the price goes up significantly... So many people opt for more well-known alternatives like Apeks or Scubapro.

Indeed, i've saw some ressembance with nexus on their IG page

Photo day! :rofl3:

Would other brands‘ service kits would match this setup?
Or are there variations from other products?

The 2nd stage reminds me of 979

Yuhsin manufactures many models. The 979 you mentioned is made by Yuhsin, but its first stages are a different model from ours.
As a manufacturer, Yuhsin can design regulators for you from scratch, or you can choose from their extensive catalog.
Pleasantly surprised that you know the 979 brand!
