Mares Morpheus vs Vector 1000 BCDS

Dear All,

I'm thinking of getting a new BCD but am torn between the Mares Morpheus and the Vector 1000.

I heard that the Morpheus is being phased out but dunno y and there's a sale of the same going for about US380 whereas the Vector 1000 is going for about US480.

Is there any real value in spending US100 more for the Vector 1000?

I heard the inflation hose of the Morpheus is new technology but untested which is 1 of the reasons for its alleged phasing out?

Can anybody help? Phil, as the rep of Mares, any comments?
