Mares Abyss

Does anyone have any experence with converting the mares abyss to DIN. I have seen the din conversion parts for sale. However once this is done can you use a yoke adapter when you have the need to put the reg back on a tank with a K valve. Also I think that I read somewhere on this board that the yoke adapter will not work on some of the thermo valves. I believe these are the valves that are coming on the new PST series "E" tanks. Any information would be helpful.

We've had our Mares Abyss regs for almost 2 years now. Since I dive HP steel I had mine converted to DIN.

If I am travelling for an extended period of time & don't have access to DIN tanks, I convert it to yoke and back to DIN once I am home. Otherwise I take the yoke adaptor with me.

My prior reg of 10 years was also DIN and I did the same thing.
