3/14-3/21, Iberostar and Dressel Divers. Been a while since I stayed down south.

Any current dive reports?

79-80 on most dives. Viz was good not great for Cozumel standards. Currents up north were all over the place. Great diving as always.

Hey Marchers!!!


For those currently on island .... I know Zman was getting 79-80 on water temps a few days ago, but when I asked, I got a 77 temp from my dive op today. Has the temps cooled off a bit? Or - hopefully - she got a fluke reading??? I'm waffling between dragging my full 3 mil vs. my shorty. The air temps look to be gorgeous the next week+, so I'm not too worried about surface chill.

I had 78 all week. the best part was had Eagle Rays every day. An awesome week of diving, now back to reality.

I had 81 Uwatec degrees today. I wore my 5 mm suit and hooded vest underneath.

I do recall glancing at it while at depth once and seeing a 77 but for the most part it has been 79 and up.

:shocked2: If I can't dive it in a 3 mil, I don't dive. I've done a quarry dive that was as low as 65 in a 3 mil full .... but I think my face was getting frost bite!

Heading home today. Had 80-81 on my dive computer all week. 3mm shorty did fine for me, but I had a little extra insulation.

Just waiting for my ride to the airport. Will soon be back in paradise enjoying another great trip to Scuba Club.

After a short flip from the island it is Vancouver to LA to Houston to Cozumel.
Looking forward to seeing all my Scuba Club friends tomorrow
