Which Airline? City?

Bummer! Been there. See if they can put you in the "Executive type" club for the inconveniance. Usually free food, drinks and WIFI.

Sounds like my American, DFW, 737(-800) over the years.
 
Nope, Continental in Houston. And, now we are waiting on the 3rd plane and a gate change. We have Presidents Club access, but they keep tying us up to where we can't go anywhere. Gave us food vouchers but there are no restaurants open in the new terminal. Not too pleased with the Cont./United mergevright now.
 
Might be easier to go to CUN and do the bag drag instead of sleeping in IAH.
Last year we got off the over booked CZM plane just before push-back to the island. Young family and ticket agent wanted to kiss us for giving up our seats. Bags stayed on CZM plane. We went CUN 1st class with $500 in vouchers each + vouchers for ADO bus, Mexican Waterjet Ferry and lunch. Delayed our arrival 4-5 hours. We sat in the Presidents club's leather seats surfing the net while waiting. We are going back this Thursday the 10th. Both tickets only cost $7.02 after vouchers. I'm hoping they over book the flight again!

Hey budaman, I was on the same flight. How about those lines at immigration? Anyway that flight finally left after a 4 1/2 hour delay, and arrived in Cozumel around 3:10.

Did you do the CUN bag drag?
How much longer did it take?
I hope they at least compensated you both. I'm guessing you did the CUN route by DiverG's Immigration comment. I guess we have been lucky in CUN immigration. For us it has been about the same at either CUN or CZM. I'd rather take a direct to CUN than get stuck in Texas anytime. Oh and I've been stuck in Texas for 36 hours before along with several half day delay's. I hope your both in a sunny Island kind of mood and have a great dive(s) today.
