March in Cozumel 2010

Okay,okay you caught me. pool was closed yesterday morning. We did get to dive with aquasafari with a friend we met here two years ago. columbia wall dive 1 lots of people,not a great first dive back. the weather was coming in for the afternoon and we were told that the port was closing so we went back to paradise reef for the second dive and it was a great 1 hour dive with all the critters out. that has to be the most relaxing dive. Toured punta punta sur and the lighthouse with the port closed in the morning, little lunch stop at punta morena and back to check on the next days diving. DWM says all should be good as the wind has layed down and the port opened in the afternoon. but right now we have to meet the boat at the dock. I hope that will suffice for now BTravlin, it's so nice to be blue.

Yes, much better! Glad things are going well so far. Toured Punta Sur myself for the first time just this past Xmas. Quite the view from up atop the lighthouse. Hope the weather gets better and stays that way for the duration of your trip.

ALright just got off the boat from a great 3 dive day. dives in order were palancar bricks, la francesa, palancar caves. first day with dive with martin and so far so good, really it was great with small groups and we were allowed to dive our air or computers wich ever comes first. off to dinner and maybe some mini golf.

Thanks! Olympus C-5050 Camera in Ikelite housing, Ikelite tray and arms, Dual Ikelite strobes (one DS-50 and a DS-51). Recently got a new Inon wide angle lens and dome for my rig. Can't wait to try the new glass! All of the pics I posted so far were with one strobe. I had one strobe flood (battery compartment door issue) on the 3rd dive when these were taken March 09'.

Was just checking airfares from SDF to CZM and can still get pretty darn good fares even at this late date.

I'm looking forward to a nice sunny day on the beach enjoying my shrimp ceviche and guacamole & chips while waiting for dive # 2 of the day.
