I'm not sure how Cozumel compares to Bonnaire so i wanted to ask about water temperatures during early March. I ready they could be low 80's so i wanted to ask if its shorty, full-3ml or rash guard / board shorts water? I'm thinking shorty for warmth to 3mill to minimize the stingers...

Danny .... from what I hear, temps are in the high 70's - although maybe some Feb people will chime in with some updates!! And a lot depends on how cold you get. I'll often wear a skin under my shorty in case of stingers, but if it's dropping into the 70's, I may have to break out the 3 mil full.

My Galileo reports 79° from yesterday. It tends to read a bit on the high side so probably actually 77/78

My son and I were okay without suits but there were quite a few stingers in the water column.

I would think the water temps should get into the 80's for March? For me it's not an issue because I'm in a 3mm full for warmth and protection. Now the wife on the other hand might be cold so the 3mm full might not do the job.

5mil here for anything but my bathtub.

After 15 or more dives in 5 days I am chilled with a 3mil.....especially with the minimal effort required to dive in Coz.
