I purchased a Mantis 2 last year, along with a nylon band. My intent was to remove the original rubber band and replace it with the nylon band. I quickly found out that this is not just a simple remove the pins procedure. I am also told that there are special tools involved and the instructions in the owner's manual simply do not contain the details. I work for an authorized Scubapro dealer in South Florida (Diver's Cove) and am interested in being able to perform this not just for myself personally, but for any customers who may bring these into the shop in the future. Rene or Jules, do you have any "How To" videos and links to the procedures and special tool(s) required to perform this? Thank you in advance for any guidance.

If you work for a SP dealer I would just call them, they have not monitored this forum for quite a while.
The special tool they speak of is probably just a spring bar tool. https://www.amazon.com/Spring-Bar-T...41123011&psd=1&keywords=spring+bar+tool&psc=1

Looking in the manual, I would push the pin just like any other, just make sure you push the splintered end as they mention.
Any reputable jeweler would have that tool and be able to remove the pin for you as well.

Hi I also got an M2 but not sure if it will fits my old transmitter as below. Can u share ?
