Alexander Spring, Ginnie Springs, Blue Grotto, Devils Den. Sorta depends on where you will be staying and how far you want to travel. The Gulf is nice if the winds die down.

JillGadget:
Would like to go south to Fl within the next month. Was thinking of snorkling with the manatees then do some scuba in some of the grottos (lakes) aswell. Any suggestions? Did not want to do anything in open water since it is pretty choppy this time of the year.
Thanks,
Jill

Dito on the springs from eandiver. Then Crystal River area for the manatees. There are a few dive shops in the Crystal River area that have planned snorkel trips with the manatees. They also do guiding to some of the springs in the area.

March is not a good time to snorkel with the manatees as they are migrating back to the sea. Last March, I only saw quite a few (1 or 2). You can go and try if you are lucky. central FL has a lot of springs such as Ginnie Springs, Blue Grotto, Devil's Den, Troy Springs, and etc - do the search on SB, you will find a lot of info.
