Manatee Springs Oct 26-28 Camping & Dive

I am heading to Manatee Springs in Cheifland Florida to Camp out with friend's. Anybody want to dive Sat and or Sunday?

This weekend Oct 26-28th I am camping with non diving friend's at Manatee Spring's Magnolia loop site's 29,30&37 You and or friends are welcome to drop by if you or any friend's want to! Me and my son Nick will take our scuba gear and plan on getting a dive or so in. I have invited some other diver's but I am unsure who or how many will commit and or show up at this time?

Man, I haven't been to Manatee Springs in years and certainly haven't dove it! Unfortunately, diving is out for me this weekend as I am meeting up with an old friend I never get to see anymore. Thinking about developing a slight case of anal glaucoma for work tomorrow (just can't see my butt going in) or skipping out early and diving in. . . what can I say, I'm addicted!
Have a great time up there! Wave hi for me too, I have fond memories of a car breaking down in Chiefland lol.

We had a great time camping at Manatee Springs! The wheather was beutifull. There was aproximently 12 of us. We got a couple of dives in and had a very enjoyable weekend. On the way home a few of us had lunch and a relaxing afternoon in Cedar Key.

Wow, I haven't been out there in ages. Actually the last time I was camping there I had left a small bit of water in a cup the night before - it had turned to ice when I woke in the morning

My friends did do canoeing on the Suwannee while we got our dive's in.

Me and my son went to Manatee Spring's for Christmas a number of years ago and the the temp got down to 24* one night! Had the heater going full blast in our Volkswagon Vanagon Camper. Driving there with Chrismas lights going! Wraped around the camper inside and out.

That is cheating :28: We camped in tents those were some good times when the kids were younger. That said, I've had my fill It was near Thanksgiving when that water froze. I remember now, we smoked a turkey all day. It was awesome.
