Dove Mammoth Lake for the 2nd time this year on September 4, as a check out dive before going to Kraken / Rig dives in October. A lot more fish this time than 3 month ago.

Found the egg and the shuttle on my last dive there. A neat place to get wet.

That map at 14 seconds is the best I've seen yet. no other maps show the spiderweb of ropes off the "central" boat.

Very nice. I've never seen vis that good at Mammoth.

What was the surface & bottom temps?

Tell me about the Kraken/rig dives. Is this scheduled on the Fling?

Agree with @txgoose
Would you happen to have that on a PDF you can attach here? I might like to print/laminate a copy.

Cheers,

Couv

Thanks. That map was made by my buddy who used to work in previous dive shop there.

The temperatures were 79F at 20' depth and 87F at the surface.

The Kraken/Rig trip is one day trip on October 17, on a 48' boat of 6 divers from Galveston booked through Scuba Diving Travel, not with Fling Charter (which is a 2-day trip to Flower Garden and has been fully booked for the year). I booked the trip last week. I just called them (281-741-9949) a few minutes ago and they still have a spot left, if you are interested. Good luck!

Here is the Mammoth Lake map:
