We saw Manta, various of sharks (Galapagos, Hammerhead, Whitetip Reef, & Whaleshark), Eagle Ray, various snappers (Whipper, Blue & Gold, Mullet), Groupers (Leopard, Golden, Leather Bass), Trevalies (Big-eye Jack, Black Jack, Bluefin Trevally, Almaco Jack), large schooling of Pelican Barracuda, as shown in the trip video, below.

Another group saw Ferox. If he share his video to me later, I’ll pot it here.

Great video. The bottle trick is a light switch that you can't turn off once it's been turned on.

Thanks! I’m glad you like it.

Yes, once those Galapagos sharks got on alert, my GoPro was in a full action mode, until my Teric said it’s time to get back to the shallow. I was on light DECO a few times.

Super motivating.

Thank you very much for posting!

It turns out July is a good time to go. You see everything. However, I’d like to see schooling Hammerheads. That’s why I’ll come back to Malpelo in January 2027. Hopefully the Ferox would show up for me to shoot video of it too.

I don’t report much about the boat, it’s operational details as these already reported thoroughly by @scubadada in his trip reports:
