Malaria meds question....

My two kids and I will be spending a week inland this July.

Are Malaria meds recommended?

We have all the other shots, etc Hep A,B Typhoid, etc.

Depending on your destination, go to the Center for Disease Control website ; CDC.gov

There you will find specific recommendations for vaccinations etc for travel.

Remember that even if meds are considered necessary and you take them, it's still important to avoid getting bitten. Meds don't give 100% protection.

I would get any advice re meds from a travel doc, not an internet forum...
