aside from a/c and hot water showers, I think Matt can provide you a room with "call a friend" feature.

If you guys want to check out some of the dive sites around Malapascua in advance, theres a site you may want to check out. I'm not allowed to post links yet (being a rookie on this board still) so the site is gotomalapascua dot com. If you're diving with Matt and David you'll probably want to go deep - don't miss the Pioneer wreck then - it's wicked!
