Last time we dove Mala was pre-fire. At the time, the lot was full so we offloaded then I parked in the neighborhood. I want to be respectful of the locals, what are the current guidelines as to loading, parking, etc? I don't mind a walk but don't want to burden any of the local neighbors

Also where is the best place to rent tanks/weights? Used EH last time

ETA - is it possible to surface swim out from the beach, or is the walk along the pier required? One of our party may have an issue with walking the gear weight into the water.

Thanks
