I could never figure out how people knew where the jeepney was going!?!

It's usually written on the side. I guess that if you're a regular, you'll know it by the name written in big fancy letters on the front.

the route is written on the sides of the jeepney. there's usually a small sign on the windshield which says the destination of the jeepney.

@halthron: pay to the driver. i usually pay when i'm about 3/4 of the distance i'm going to. to stop just say "pa-ra" or "sa tabi lang"

"tap"... "tap" the roof... banging the roof just surprises the other passengers, calls attention to yourself and elicits a "HUY!" from the driver
