Maine diving 9/20-21/08

I will be in Ogunquit, Maine, southeast corner of the state, and looking for a dive store/facility to get some dives in. Any recommendations? Thanks and safe diving.

We're heading to RI that weekend in search of tropicals but the diving in Southern Maine will be nice and just a few degrees cooler than summer's finest.

Your dive shops will be in Portsmouth / Rye NH or Portland ME. Here are my links to regional sites and resources. If you want to get on a boat with Maine Divers book your spot ASAP.

There are some other local divers that watch this forum. Are you looking for buddies?

Thanks for the response. I am traveling alone so finding a buddy up there will be nice. I already e-mailed Maine Divers and they wrote back suggesting I contact them a week prior. They said a Saturday a.m. dive will be a beach dive. Unfortunately, I can't make the Sunday boat dive as I have obligations already. I'm trying to dive all 50 states and this is my first trip to Maine (so I want to make a dive, regardless of how "good"). I've already done the hard states (Alaska & Hawaii). I've only dived twice in this area, but there are plenty of spots to go.

Portland is probably less than an hour away.. so depending on how far your planning on traveling hit me up. I love any excuse to dive.

I am going to be at Bowdoin college that same weekend. The opposite direction as hdsesq. I was looking for a Saturday dive as well.
