Mai Dive Resort, Ono Island, Fiji

Has anyone visited/dove with this resort? We are spending the second half of our Fiji trip next March 2011 on this island at MaiDive. I read great things in Trip Advisor - just hoping some of you have visited here and can share some insight. Thanks!

March is a good time to go to Mai Dive, or November. We were there in June and it was pretty chilly.

Mai Dive is excellent. Very much boutique at the higher end of the cost spectrum, but great for the private, relaxed dive vacation. Don't expect a swinging night life though
High quality dive gear and some fabulous dive sites - weather permitting. March is towards the end of the cyclone season so there is always a chance of a big blow, but that's true of the whole Southern Pacific and you would be very unlucky for one to hit there and then.
It will still be hot - around 82F (28C) during the day and about 4-5 degrees C cooler at night.
You might get some rain but as we head into Winter the chances of rain decrease.
