Macro setting for Gopro?

yes i had the +10 stacked with my DIY macro lens. No LCD Screen

Before the plunge, i was experimenting my gear set up in the tub with my Mini Ipad wirelessly sync. the nearest i can get to be in focus is around 4 inches.

with only the +10 close Up Lens, the nearest i can get is around 8 inches.

I tried using my tablet with the GoPro's Wi-Fi in my pool. Anything more than an inch UW and signal lost. It didn't workout for me.
I'm thinking of getting another +10 to stack on my +10 to be able to get closer if needed. I'm not about to stack 3 more weaker lenses on top of my +10 UW, too many IMO.
I just need to get used to getting the right distance from the subject.

I just got one today. It's like others said, it really isn't good for determining focus but it is good for framing the shots.
I plan on only turning on the LCD for close-up shots in order to conserve battery.

Just took it for a dive with LCD. Now I roughly know how to use. One full battery can last me for about 2 dives

Battery lasting you 2 full dives? Not bad. You turning the camera on and off or something?

Yes,It does have autofocus and image stabilization too.
also its HD hero which introduces 4K imaging to the tiny, wearable camera.
