Hi,
This is my second year at this site(state camp groung) and since the dive charter we hired last year broke down in route to the Marsh...I've elected to rent a boat this year and visit some sites on our own. Last year we dove the Keystorm and intent to return this year, but I'm interested in visiting other sites too. The group I'll be with are not ready for hard dives, so I'm looking for buoyed sites on the river that are set up to dive from a pontoon boat. We want to avoid strong current, drift dives and anything deeper then 100 feet. Thanks in advance for your time

You might want to try the sub forum right at the top of the page called Lake Effect divers that group is more geared toward your area you might get some more response in there

Thanks for nothing...jerks :(

A. You are renting a poontoon boat, be careful.:11:
B. Most Sites in the river tend to have a little bit (to a LOT of BIT) of current. ie... THAT IS WHY I RECOMMENDED TAKING THE 30-40 MIN. DRIVE TO A-BAY AND TRY THE ISLANDER . :mooner: This is a great site for newer divers on the river.
C. Depending on the time of the year there are several water related activities going on that may not be "diver" Friendly. Like Pirate's Weekend when every slob with a boat thinks they are Jack Sparrow. :no
D. I am now sorry I tried to help! :lotsalove:

Hey Speargirl, I doubt Iceguy will post here again. The trend lately seems to drop one and run. I hope I am wrong, but then I am a Jerk...:D

At least he proved he is patient, he waited an entire 3 days before deciding we were unworthy...
