I dive Scubapro Regs and am very happy with them.
However I am looking for a Reg for my soon to be cert wife, who feels the current (in the keys) was trying to rip the second stage out of her mouth.
Any suggestions on high-end easybreathing low-profile second stages?
thanks,

The Oceanic Zeta or the Mares Proton Ice come to mind. Both are pretty high performance and both are very low profile second stages. I have a Zeta, and it takes a little getting used to since it can deliver so much air. I had to take it in a couple of times to get it tweaked since it would free-flow a little in shallow water. The proton Ice looks to have a very similar first stage as the Abyss MR22 (ice is V32) first stage with a metal variation of the proton (with a 'Ice' blue color scheme). From what my local shop tells me, the Proton Ice is pretty popular with female divers since it's a little more stylish than your average black reg.

The only other one that comes to mind would be a USD Micra, but I don't have any experience with the USD stuff.
