After the Santa Barbara dive we headed to Malibu, Deer Creek Road. The waves were not bad, but before getting the gear out (8 of us at that time), I volunteered to skin dive the site, entry was very nice. Got out about 100 yard and the bottom was crystal clear 30 to 35 feet.

Before I continue, since Jr. High I've been quoted: Never Again Volunteer Yourself .........Some things will never change.....

Well during the exit, as I removed by second fin a huge wave hit me from behind, I was tossed around like a rag doll , boy I miss surfing.

I held my $200 fins, but my blue mask/snorkel...well that's why I'm here.

Ended up being an expensive skin dive; I replaced them the same day.......$75
