Just a thought - would it be visible with a drone? That might be a way to cover a lot of territory quickly. Especially if you could release some (biodegradable) dye to track currents.
The scooter lost in Little River a couple years ago still hasn’t been recovered, I’m not sure there’s hope for this guy being lost in the ocean.

Got to get these that strap to your legs so they can't be lost... Only prob is they are only sold to the military and cost $34,000 each!

Looking at the Jetboots website, I get the feeling that there is a sucker born every minute, most of them wear green for a living and as long as the government is willing to pay the bill for overly expensive gear, companies like this will thrive while ripping off the taxpayer.
