This may be a shot in the dark, but I lost my gold Texas A&M ring while jumping off a rock outcrop on Town Lake. It slipped off my finger in about 8-10 feet of water with no a sandy/muddy bottom. I looked with a mask and snorkel for awhile but couldn't stay down long enough to search consistently.

I think someone with Scuba gear might have a chance to find it, and I would be happy to pay $400 to anyone who did. It's under the cliff just opposite Red Bud park. I can provide more details if someone wants to go look.

I know its a long shot, but I hope someone can help!

I've gotten to where I will not wear my Marine Corp ring on any trip that might involve outdoor activities. I never took it swimming and marvel at people who do wear jewelry in the water, i,e. barracuda lures, but many do.

I am too far away to help. There's several hours of daylight left. Hope a local diver sees this and can meet you there to pinpoint the location. Good luck.

One AG to another... I'll be happy to try and find your ring. No reward necessary...aside from a 6 pack of lonestar. Give me a call and we'll find it. 512-four six six two eight eight four. WHOOP!

I hope you can keep your fins off of the bottom while you search. And stay safe in that murky water.

Even though I'm a Longhorn (BA 87), I'll be glad to try to help you out, no reward necessary. Trying to find some time to go up to Austin this weekend to dive, can you give more details of where you might have lost it?

Ring found in mud @ 15'. Vis. 2-3'. I would say a few folks have lost stuff under those cliffs, lots of stuff. Glad to help out a fellow Aggie. Into the safe it goes until you pick it up. WHOOP!

 Wow!! When I was reading this, I was thinking- they won't find that ring! Sorry for the naysaying because you ROCK. I know txtag04 is eternally grateful. It's awesome to have a happy ending because of someone who cares!

I bet he will want to buy you a nice steak dinner along with the sixpack.
