Hi All , I am in Los Angeles for a few days towards the end of March staying in Hollywood area . I am an experienced diver from the UK and would like to do a couple of dives whilst I am there . I would need to hire all my equipment as I won't have mine with me . Can anyone recommend a dive shop that could hire me all the kit and take me out on a guided tour for the day .
Thanks 👍

My recommendation would be to take the ferry from Long Beach to Catalina Island and dive at Casino Point dive park. There is a shop a stone's throw from the site entry point, where you can rent gear and arrange a guide. I would book ferry tickets and reserve gear/guide in advance. For what it's worth, if you are traveling with a dive buddy I don't know if I would bother hiring a guide. There is a nice map of the dive site near the entrance and it's a lot of fun to explore unguided, especially for an experienced diver.

Forgot to say the name of the shop: Catalina Divers Supply
