Hello from Madison Wisconsin. 24th year of diving for me. Over the years friends and acquaintances have given me vintage dive gear thinking I could actually use it……Most often it is 1970’s & 80’s stuff. Today I am posting pics of a really old mask. The gentleman said it came from Florida. Here are a few pics….. Looking for more info if anyone wants to share. I found another on this forum but it seems to be different…,,,Sea-Net Dive Mask. Los Angeles California.

The mask seems to be in very good condition. Below the same Sea-Net Sea-Dive deluxe model in an advertisement in the August 1946 issue of Boys' Life magazine. The standard version of this mask came without the featheredge flange that created a better facial seal for the user.

Post script....
Are you sure it says....Sea-Net Dive Mask. Los Angeles California. Rather than Calif. ...?

Hi. Ref your...The standard version of this mask came without the featheredge flange that created a better facial seal for the user......
Have you any images of the flange mask version and would it have been available by mid 1943?

I don't have any 1943 sources to date when the flanged mask made its début. A 1944 Sea Dive ad above, probably for the standard version. The de-luxe flanged model likely emerged later.
