By the way do we need a reef hook ? I saw on their site that they are talking about it. I did not think we would need reef hook on this kind of dives
At Eight Mile Rock (8 miles away from Koh Lipe, on the south Andaman route), there's a big cage sitting on the reef - if there's current, you can hook up to that, and watch the fish go by. In eight trips, that was the only place that I saw anyone use a reef hook, and then only once. I understand that it's a lot more prevalent on the Burma routes, but I haven't done those yet.
