I've tried a thicker one, has that same bleeding like a reg set, quick burst purge followed by slower hissing releasing the remaining air that is from HP hose. While the one in the pic on 1st post just do a quick burst out and done.But the bleed speed depends on the size of the hole; yes the bleed volume depends on the hose volume.

That pic in your first post is a unicorn....when you trace it back and look at it closely, it does indeed show the male on both ends, but the description that goes with it says one end is male and the other is female, in fact it is a regulator hose, not a HP hose, which is why it bleeds quickly.
