Anyone out there ever dove the Meditteranean off the coast of Tunisia? I have a chance to go and am looking for intel.

Depends on the region. There is sandy bottom part. Nothing to make my heart to beat faster. And rocky bottom part. It is ok for diving. There is underwater film festival in Tunisia. Go to the Europe diving sub forum. You will find lots of info about Med diving there.

Tabarka would be the place - there is a Scuba club there and 3-4 dive boats- lots of Red coral and decent fish- One year I was there a fishing boat caught some kind of shark that weighed over 1000lbs It was a vegaterian I as I remember looked to be 18 feet long or so
