Looking for good dive charter in Florida Panhandle

Hello everyone,

I am thinking about taking a weekend and driving up to the panhandle to do some diving somewhere between Apalachicola & Pensacola.

Can anyone make a recommendation where to go, who to dive with, and what the diving is like?

There are some nice wreck (limited penetration) and artificial reef dives off of Panama City and Destin. I've gone with Diver's Den (http://www.diversdenonline.com/) and Scuba Tech (http://www.scubatechnwfl.com/) and enjoyed myself both times. There have also been numerous endorsements of Emerald Coast (http://www.divedestin.com/), which I understand runs smaller boats (6 divers).

GOod wrecks out of Panama CIty, and I dove with Splash. Let me know when your coming and Ill go with...

If I'm not mistaken, Splash is Divers Den. I have dove with Casey on that boat and had a great time. I highly recommend.

I had thought I would come up this month but now it looks like every weekend is slammed until mid June. I'll post a message when I get something lined up. How far offshore is most of the diving? Reefs, aritificials, and wrecks?

From panama city, 5-15 miles.

From Destin, lots of bridge rubble and wrecks 2-5 miles off, more wrecks and reefs up to 10-15 miles.
