Steve couldn't come out and play this morning, but how about a late afternoon dive- around 5:00 pm?

Steve

It was awesome!!

Thanks again Renee and Mike. I sure did enjoy that. I liked the junvenile spotted drums and the rays. What kind of rays where those? Either of you know?

It was also cool to meet some other SB divers, Howard and Michelle and Jamdiver.

Hope to see more of you all.

Take care, dive safe.

Sorry you couldn't join us this morning Steve. I'm done for today, had a great morning though.

Renee,

I have your de-fog, it got left in the trunk. And we didn't give that octo keeper back to Mike.

The first little ray was a southern and the second was a yellow stingray. The Lizardfish was actually a Snakefish (member of lizardfish family). The cute little guy that kept peeking out at you was a sailfin blenny. (Scuba_Jenny's favorites!)

Don't worry about the defog. It was almost emply and I have plenty. Want to do an evening dive???

How about an evening dive Tuesday night, seas permitting?

Yep, I'd be up for an evening/night dive. Of course that would be another first for me, but I'm not afraid of a little dark :icon10: Or trying new stuff.

Let me know what your thinking of . . .

Thanks to both of you for a cool dive too... Nice meeting some other scubaboarders for the first time... and you can keep the hose clip, I am pretty sure I can find another and my skum ball worked fine.

Memories of my dive...
* Ciret can swim along the reef, while maintaining a vertical position, with his head down and fins up, for an hour.
* Remind myself not to wear Apollo Bio fins next time we do a reef dive ( I thought those guys were right behind me? ).
* Don't stand on the sand when ReneeC is around, no dammit, I said not even on the sand!
* If you're are meeting people at Hibiscus, don't park at Datura and carry all your gear and 2 HP100s down the beach to meet them.
* Get a new frigging snorkel!

Yup! No standing or kneeling on the sand - there are lots of interesting things living in the sand as well as the reef! Practice those old pool skills while still in motion because there will be times when there will be no sand to be had.
